For the Transforming Hollywood Conferences, Studio Areté’s north star was to create smooth journeys for panellists, participants, and hosts. As the primary point of contact for high-powered panellists from Marvel Television, Spotify, Lost, Dexter, NPR, Twitch, and more, the Studio provided detailed personal attention, travel planning, and support. Meanwhile, we took over the practical preparations, leaving the great thinkers in charge free from stress and able to devote all their attention to inspiring vibrant conversations on the conference stage.

These events ignited conversations amongst power players from various fields and created community where there previously was none, bringing together those devoted to strengthening the entertainment industry’s support of marginalised voices. And USC kept up the collaboration with Studio Areté, inviting us to produce two more events, The Power and Pleasure of Podcasting and UnREAL: Making and Unmaking Gender, Race, and Power for TV.
